Landing at dawn or killing a long layover is easier once your bags are off your back. Seoul has lockers in the subway, staffed luggage counters and round the clock storage at the airport.

Subway lockers

Seoul's subway has T-Locker lockers at 336 spots across 273 stations, 5,557 lockers in all, according to the city. They open from 5 AM to midnight every day, including weekends and holidays. The T-Locker app shows which station has free lockers, but it is in Korean only.

Staffed counters

T-Luggage counters at Seoul Station, Hongik University, Jamsil, Myeong-dong, Gimpo Airport and Jongno 3-ga stations hold bags and can deliver them the same day, including to Incheon Airport. They are open every day from 9 AM to 10 PM, and you can book on the T-Luggage website.

Landing before 5 AM

Subway lockers open at 5 AM and the staffed counters later, so for the first hours after a dawn landing the airport is the place to leave bags.

At Incheon Airport

Both terminals have a luggage storage counter that runs around the clock, according to the airport's facility listing: in Terminal 1 near counter N, and in Terminal 2 on the third floor near Gate 1, west side. Other counters keep shorter hours.

Somewhere to wait

Some bathhouses run all night. The button below opens the bathhouses we have confirmed are open 24 hours, and each one's details screen shows whether we confirmed that it holds luggage. Ask before you rely on either.

Phrases to show staff

Show the Korean line on your phone, or say it aloud: the spelling in brackets reads like English.

짐을 맡길 수 있을까요?
Can I leave my luggage somewhere?
Jimeul matgil su isseulkkayo? (jee-meul maht-kkeel ssoo ee-sseul-kkah-yoh?)
밤새 영업하나요?
Are you open all night?
Bamsae yeong-eophanayo? (bahm-seh yuhng-uh-pah-nah-yoh?)
여기서 자고 가도 되나요?
Can I sleep here overnight?
Yeogiseo jago gado doenayo? (yuh-gee-suh jah-goh gah-doh dweh-nah-yoh?)

Each place on the map shows what we confirmed, what we confirmed as a no, and what we have not confirmed yet.
